I just finished installing the new template for Metal Hall eZine. I think this layout is more clear and easy to read. Please leave a comment with your opinion about the new template.

Besides the new layout there will be some changes in the categories and the subjects covered by Metal Hall eZine.

Metal Hall eZine in collaboration with Schmap!!! brings to you a new cool widget called the Tour Dates widget which can be found on the side bar. Selecting an artists from a drop-down menu you can follow your favorite band and see its upcoming concerts, venues and maps. Tour maps and schedules update automatically for a growing selection of bands and solo artists. Hope you like it!

Metal Hall eZine

Here comes Metal Hall Radio... Part II. If you want to listen some music while you are browsing just click the play button on the sidebar. Although there is a bug that I'm working on it. Each time you load a new page a new song is loaded.

So, the best way to listen to the radio is to click where it says "Click Here To Listen..." and the radio will load on a pop-up window and it will play until you close it.

A: Well, usually we review albums that we like and repsect the effort of the artist.

Unfortunately something happend to the servers of FreeForums.org and as result Metal Hall Forum was deleted. Anyway, I fixed the problem and rebuild the site. Now the forum is back and looks more like a portal than a simple forum. I hope you will liked it. The bad news are that all posts and accounts were deleted and you will have to sing-up again.

FINALLY METAL HALL RADIO HAS BEEN LAUNCHED !!! After a couple of months of hard work we are proud to present our internet radio station. Still the project is on testing mode but its working perfectly...so far. Below are a tutorial to listen and some plans info for the future.

To listen live the Metal Hall Radio Station:

1. Go to http://www.box.net/shared/spnagkeakb
2. Download the file MetalHallRadio.mu3 (only 93 bytes) or Download it immediately from the link at sidebar
3. Open it with winamp (or any other player)
4. Bang Your Head!

Attention: in order to listen you may need ogg codecs (for e.g. if you use w.m.p.) so we suggest winamp or vlc players. Ogg codecs can be found in different sites for free.


Future plans about the station

1. Live DJ shows
2. Communication between station and listeners
3. Forum

Ok, finaly I am back and the site is working properly. All the problems that appeared during holidays are gone :D. First, the site had a problem with spamers. So, word verification is necessary from now on. Second, Oggix had some problems with their servers but it seems that now it ok. And, finaly for some reason blogger was messing up with my fonts, but this one is fixed also. So, everything is ok now :D

Aside the problems the poll is now closed and here are the results:

• 74% believes that is really expensive to a buy a cd
• 19% buy one cd per month and only if the have some spare money
• 3% believes that the prices are ok
• 3% are addicted and buy more that 5 cds per month !!!

Well, when the 94% don't buy new cds because the prices are so high, the music companies have to reconsider their strategies!

As you can see I have added a poll section, called "Poll Of The Month". It is powered by dPolls.com and I found it pretty cool ;). Anyway, first question: "How many CDs do you buy per month ?". Some say that they are too expensive, some say that they prefer to download free music and others they buy CDs to support the bands. What do you do?

As you have noticed already, there is a new comment system in our site. It seems that people having some problems publishing comments.

You CAN'T post a comment from the main page anymore. In order to do so, you have to go on the article's page first and then click the comment button.

e.g.
In order to post a comment in this article, click the title of the post ("New Comments System"). Then go to the end of the post and click "comments". A Peek-a-Boo form will appear and then you can post your comments.

I just added a new feat at the site. There is a subscription box at the sidebar. Just put your email there and every time a new article is posted on Metal Hall eZine, it will delivered automaticaly to your e-mail. Hope is handy ;)

Metal Hall will be off for the next days for two reasons:

1)It's summer...so time for holidays

2)I am working on site code and soon I'll add some new feats on the site, probably until next weekend...until then...
