"At The Crack of Doom", the new video from Californian thrashers Warbringer, can be viewed below. The clip was helmed by up-and-coming director Joe Hendrick and is described in a press release as "a savage, performance-based video that unleashes a fury of aggression and all-out thrash madness."

Commented guitarist John Laux: "We ended up performing 'At the Crack of Doom' at a very old, evil and torn-up building in the Mojave desert. This video is a performance piece like 'Combat Shock', but we also had extras running around in hooded robes carrying torches as part of a post-apocalyptic cult or something. Needless to say, after working on the project we are very excited for its release."

Warbringer is continuing to tour in support of its acclaimed debut offering, "War Without End". The band will hit the road again on October 1 as the support act for the legendary East Coast metal band Overkill on a month-long North American assault. After Warbringer finishes its stint with Overkill, it will wrap up the songwriting process for its sophomore album and then head into the studio to begin tracking. The band will then join up with Soilwork, Darkane and Swallow The Sun for an extensive tour that will last from January 30 to March 22.

Commented Laux: "We couldn't be more excited to hit the road in support of fucking Overkill. It's been awhile since we've stopped by your town on a real, killer thrash bill. We hope to see all of our friends around the country for some good, violent and bloody old-school mayhem. We've been waiting a long time for this."

3 Weeks Ago On Sunday” from Hellbound ’71 just confirms the saying: Never judge a cd from the crappy booklet”. With an artwork like a b-movie, lyrics only from two songs and with no information at all about the band I was totally negative prepared. The good thing is that everything changed from the first tunes of “3 Weeks Ago On Sunday”. The 3-piece band from Canada is like they jumped out from the movie “Dead Man” with few boxes of whiskey in their bags.

The band shows its attitude right from the beginning. “Meatball” is hard rock instrumental tornado. “Stay Drunk” it’s a song that only bands of the caliber of Guns ‘N’ Roses can compose with the addition that it contains a few more pounds of alcohol. The band continuous with the same boisterous style in the remaining songs like “Three Weeks Ago On Sunday” and “I am Gone” or in a more rockabilly style in songs like “Hod Rod Cadillac”, "I Like to Drink" and “Saturday Night”. On the other hand there are a couple of week songs while their chaotic music style of the band makes the album pretty hard to listen all at once.

In general “3 Weeks Ago On Sunday” smells of alcohol from miles away!!! Richard Hou’s tone is unbelievable and in combination with the “dirty” production it creates a nice feeling. The rhythm section (drums/bass) makes the sound of Hellbound ’71 more solid and creates a sonic wave that blows your head.

"Head Up High", the new video from the Greek metal sensation Firewind, can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's latest album, "The Premonition", which was released in Japan on June 25 through King Records. The LP was made available on a limited-edition CD+DVD including four songs from the band's acclaimed hometown show in Thessaloniki on January 12, 2008, plus in-depth interviews with all band members. In addition, the album contains three bonus tracks: "Ride To The Rainbow's End", "Spirits In A Digital World" and "Mercenary Man" (acoustic version).

Firewind is about to kick off its UK headlining tour, to be followed by an extensive European headlining tour in November.

Commented guitarist Gus G.: "After a long hot summer and after playing killer shows at some of the best/biggest European festivals, we're finally ready for our UK headline tour and also our first European headline tour. While this will be the second time we'll be headlining in the UK, it's really the first extensive tour that will even get us to Ireland but also get to hit other markets in the UK. The excitement is building up more and more as the time approaches! As for the European tour in November, it's definitely a moment both us and our fans have been waiting for. Finally we have the chance to present a full Firewind show to our fans with a setlist that will cover fan-favourite songs for all our five studio albums and new additions with songs that were never played live before! In addition, we have some cool bands with us on board. Kiuas, a new great band hailing from Finland, will support us on all shows. We also present you some very special guests, different on each country! Bands like Stormwarrior, Adagio, Vicious Rumors and Eldritch will be with us — each on different territory. It only makes this tour more special! Come and witness the fire and the fury this autumn! See you out there!"
