According Megadeth's official site, Grammy-winning country singer Steve Wariner recently joined Megadeth in the studio to play steel guitar on the upcoming album.
Wariner is mixing things up in other ways, too. He recently recorded a steel guitar part for a Megadeth song.
The singer/guitarist met Dave Mustaine in the recording studio, and then Mustaine came to see Wariner perform. "Worlds collide", Wariner quipped. "It's funny. Imagine Megadeth with steel guitar. That's what I did, and Dave Mustaine is the nicest guy in the world."
