"After Lifeless Years", the new video from U.K. modern thrashers Sylosis, can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's 2008 debut, "Conclusion Of An Age", which was released via Nuclear Blast Records.

Sylosis entered the studio on November 13 to begin recording its second album for an early 2010 release via Nuclear Blast . The CD is being produced by Scott Atkins, who previously worked with the band on their debut.

Commented mainman Josh Middleton: "We're definitely progressing as a band, incorporating some new influences to make an album that's more mature, darker and generally a lot heavier.

"I've been writing riffs thinking things like, 'What if (Tool guitarist) Adam Jones played guitar in Death.' Haha.

"The songs are a little longer this time around and a bit more complex and technical which is something that's just happened naturally."

"We contemplated using other producers but we all really enjoyed working with Scott and we were really happy with the production on the last album. He really pushes for tightness and understands where we're coming from musically.

"In terms of the production, this time we're going to aim for a much more organic, raw sound. Rob's really progressed as a drummer in the last year so I can't wait to hear him lay this stuff down in the studio. Once the drums are complete, we head off on tour with Dragonforce so we wont end up recording the guitars, bass and vocals etc. until January."

The iTunes version of "Conclusion Of An Age" included the exclusive bonus track "The Fate Of Vultures".

According to a press release, the album's lyrical theme deals with "the direction in which the planet is heading and the consequences humanity will face. The album covers many areas but the main concept is the idea of mankind destroying itself through war, self-indulgence, religion etc., and how the earth is being ravaged by humanity to the point of being destroyed… but how the earth's might will eventually prevail!"

The artwork for the album was created by Colin Marks of Rain Song Studios.

After the recent Evocation I (which was more like a univeristy project than a real album) the Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie is again on the studio working their new album called Everything Remains (As It Never Was). Below you can watch Thousandfold, the new video from Eluveitie. The clip was directed by the highly acclaimed production company Grupa 13, which previously worked on the controversial Behemoth video "Ov Fire And The Void".

"Thousandfold" comes off Eluveitie's new album, "Everything Remains (As It Never Was)", which is scheduled for release on February 19, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was mixed at Nott-In Pill studios in Wales with Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Kreator) and Martyn "Ginge" Ford.

"Everything Remains (As It Never Was)" track listing:

01. Otherworld
02. Everything Remains As It Never Was
03. Thousandfold
04. Nil
05. The Essence Of Ashes
06. Isara
07. Kingdom Come Undone
08. Quoth The Raven
09. (Do)minion
10. Setlon
11. Sempiternal Embers
12. Lugdunon
13. The Liminal Passage

Commented the band's mainman, Chrigel Glanzmann: "Lyrically, the album consists of diverse stories and narrations from ancient Gallia: Historical occurrences and fates of individuals as well as myths and legends bequeathed throughout the centuries. Yet the lyrics pretty much focus on the 'human' aspects of those historical happenings and also behold them with some questioning and probably also with a slightly bittersweet smile, being well aware of the fact that today we simply cannot tell how things exactly have been back then."

Eluveitie last year announced the addition of Paede Kistler (bagpipes, whistles, acoustic guitars) and Kay Brem (bass) to the group's ranks.

Eluveitie will hit the road in February 2010 with Finntroll Dornenreich, Varg and Arkona as part of Paganfest Europe 2010.

There were rumors about the Big Three: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth touring together. Well, it proved that those rumors were untrue since there will be a small tour but it will be a Big Four Tour with Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax together with many other bands as part of a new ( i think) touring festival called Sonisphere.

However in the next few days the setlists for Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey and Spain will be announced . The truth is that in some countries not all 4 main acts will be together. But if you are not satisfied yet here are the "support" groups that have confirmed so far (different line up fo each country):
